Biofortuna are a provider of molecular diagnostic testing services and their headquarters were to be relocated to Deeside. As part of this lab construction project our fit out team converted a warehouse shell into a fully serviced laboratory facility. The ground floor space was partitioned to form a clean room, laboratories and offices. A mezzanine floor was constructed to create space for a kitchen, meeting rooms additional offices and a breakout space.
Hologic, Inc is an international molecular diagnostics company.
This project involved the fit out of their Manchester laboratories including the design of bespoke laboratory storage units to maximise storage provision. Greater flexibility was achieved by incorporating mobile cabinets which can easily be relocated by the user.
Sygnature Discovery based at Alderley Science Park, Cheshire
A combination of fitted and mobile furniture created the ideal solution for this laboratory installation. The wet lab area required sinks and storage and therefore large fixed peninsular units were fitted adjacent to the fume cupboards. To create a flexible workspace for the dry lab, mobile laboratory tables were selected, which can be re-configured according to workflow requirements.
