Our aim is to design the perfect laboratory environment to suit your needs and solutions vary according to client requirements but laboratory users usually require a combination of the following:-

 

Perimeter Lab Benching with Supporting Steel Framework

  • Robust ‘A’ frame supports laboratory worktop to provide open knee space below
  • Provides a cost effective workspace suitable for under bench mobile storage units or white goods such as fridges
  • Panelling can be fitted as an option

Fixed Under Bench Storage

  • Perimeter and island options are available
  • Good value for accommodating storage when flexibility is not a priority
  • Laboratory cabinets can be supplied with doors, drawers or trays
  • Base laboratory cabinets are positioned and site levelled before the worktops are fixed directly onto the under bench units creating an extremely rigid and robust arrangement
  • Facilitates easy installation of M & E services around the perimeter

Wet Lab Area

  • To include sinks and possibly a dishwasher. This requires fixed benching units to support the sink and conceal the waste and plumbing.

Lab Furniture for Heavy Equipment

  • Our perimeter lab benching and lab tables have been tested to take a 400KG load
  • Discuss your equipment dimensions and weights with our consultants who will design a framework suitable to meet your demands

Future Proofed Mobile Laboratory Furniture

 

Some lab processes require fitted laboratory furniture but most of our clients require a degree of flexibility to allow for business expansion and changing lab processes.

Our mobile laboratory furniture range includes mobile lab workstations and mobile cabinets which can be used in conjunction with our fixed laboratory benching range or moveable lab tables.

Lab Tables for Demanding Research Environments

 

Laboratory tables are available with 16mm Trespa worktops and fully welded powder coated steel legs.

 

Laboratory Tables Tested to 400KG Load

Our laboratory tables have been independently tested by Fira International to BS EN 15372: 2016 Test Level 3 in addition to a custom sustained load test of 400kg.

Klick’s lab table range can be purchased in a variety of sizes to co-ordinate with your fixed laboratory benches and are available in the following options:

  • Mobile laboratory tables supplied with wheels
  • Moveable laboratory tables supplied with adjustable feet

Key features of our lab benching:

  • Frameworks are fully welded epoxy coated heavy gauge steel box sections
  • Laboratory benches are mostly based on an A frame design with some C framed workstations
  • Worktops come in a range of materials including Trespa Toplab Base, Toplab Plus Align and Velstone as standard; our designers will be happy to discuss the options
  • Laboratory cabinets are available in melamine or laminate faced high density chipboard or MDF

Laboratory Storage Provision

 

Klick offer a range of lab storage systems which are designed to provide safe storage for equipment, chemicals and other essentials. Our laboratory storage is manufactured to suit client’s requirements and designed to maintain a clutter free workspace.

Laboratory Reagent Shelving

If you are looking for a lab bench shelf, this can be mounted above the worktop to create additional storage space for items that are frequently used.

Key features of our reagent shelving:

  • Creates a clear work area for efficient working
  • Available in single or 2 tier reagent lab shelving
  • Can be adapted to house various mechanical and electrical services
  • Laboratory shelves are available in Trespa Toplab Base or Toplab Plus Align

Adjustable wall shelving can also be provided for additional lab storage.  This can either be fixed directly to the wall or suspended from a fixed horizontal rail.

Fit Out Services to Support Laboratory Processes

As part of our laboratory fit out service Klick can co-ordinate the installation of specialist gases, eye wash stations, IPS units, fume cupboards and supporting HVAC requirements. Laboratory users require a safe and comfortable workspace and Klick are specialists in providing an optimum environment.

Power can be supplied through perimeter trunking, bench mounted sockets/ triangular trunking or service poles. Mobile units can be supplied with daisy chained power running between individual units.

We appointed Klick Technology to undertake two fast-track laboratory fit-out projects at almost opposite ends of the country. They were very proactive in their approach to both projects which demanded additional and imaginative lab storage solutions suitable for the limited space within the clients specialised laboratory facilities.
