I was particularly impressed by Javed’s customer service as he was extremely helpful and flexible on both meeting dates and the lab specifications as the latter changed during the planning process. All the pupils and the science teachers love their lessons, in particular the experiments, in the newly refurbished lab and we look forward to Klick coming back at Easter and then again in the summer to bring more of our facilities into the 21st century!

The aim was to completely transform the outdated Iroko lab turning it into a contemporary facility to inspire the students. The science department wanted to create a separate practical and theory area within the science laboratory. Our designers developed a number of options with a brief to co-ordinate the furniture with the school’s colours.
Our design team worked closely with the head of science to refine the layout designs. The school opted for neutral coloured furniture with purple edging for the doors and purple chairs to match. Some reconfiguration of the room was required and Klick blocked up a window so that the fixed fume cupboard could be positioned at a safe distance from the door. Access to other classrooms was improved and the dividing feature wall painted purple.
The school took advantage of our pre-summer discount and opted to have the full science lab refurbishment completed during the Easter holidays. There was a tight turnaround, however our project magegement team kept to schedule and everything was ready by the start of term.
