Klick Technology were nominated to supply furniture for the refurbishment of the science block at Emerson Park School. Their designers were instrumental in helping the school create layouts which work specifically for each different space. This involved developing a number of design concepts which were then discussed and developed in conjunction with the school. The project was executed within a tight time frame but Klick were proactive in keeping everything on track and their service has been of a very high standard. We look forward to working with Klick in the future.

Design input was key to the success of this project. Many avenues were explored in order to fully exploit the available space and the Klick design team worked on a range of options with the school in order to refine the designs.
Following discussions with other schools and site visits to previous Klick installations the final designs were selected. The school wanted an element of ‘wow’ factor and selected a crescent layout for some labs. This layout encourages collaborative learning as pupils can gather around the half oval demo area. However it was felt a mix of different styles would be advantageous and so the cranked island layout was adopted for other labs.
The project was successful in receiving CIF funding and Klick were nominated by the architects, Ingleton Wood. Due to the timing of the CIF announcements and the tender process, Klick were under pressure to finalise the design in order to co-ordinate mechanical & electrical services with the main contractor. However all elements of the phased programme were completed on time and the science department are extremely pleased with their new facilities.
