From start to finish the work has been planned and completed efficiently, on time and without any problems. Most of the time work was completed well ahead of schedule. The principal is delighted with his new 6th form science lab.

PROJECT BRIEF
The academy is opening a sixth form this September and needed a new science laboratory with an inspirational design on a limited budget.
Klick Technology explored many different design options and presented CAD layouts. The teaching staff selected the elliptical “learning curve” design which was modified to suit the available space. The crescent shape creates real impact and yet is practical in that it can accommodate 30 students. The science department opted for 25mm Velstone work tops which enhanced the sleek look of the room and added to the impact.
We proposed a partial refurbishment to keep costs to a minimum and our staff worked closely with the academy site team, re-using some existing perimeter benching. The work was completed in term time, taking advantage of our term time discounts and the academy is delighted with their new sixth form lab.
