Thanks again to the site team and to all at Klick for the smooth running of the whole project. It’s been a pleasure working with you; from Javed’s first visit to the final handover. I appreciated your attention to detail in the design phase and then professionalism during the term time installation when there was very little disturbance. The school is really pleased with the end result and the staff are looking forward to teaching in the fantastic new food technology room.

The brief was to modernise an outdated food technology room to create a practical room with visual impact and clean design. The department wanted to maximise the space for practical activities. Klick offered over ten design options to maximise the functionality of the space.
Our designers came up with a number of different layout options. The school wanted the room to accommodate 17 cookers. Due to the limited space available they decided to dedicate the room entirely to practical activities and in future will use another room for theory lessons.
The furniture is predominantly white with contrast end panels and door edging in orange. The turquoise contrast wall adds wow factor helping to create a bold statement.
The school wanted to maximise their budget and so opted for a discounted term time installation. The project ran very smoothly and an extremely practical space was created that brings together form and functionality with a contemporary aesthetic.
