Edgington Spink & Hyne Ltd worked with Klick Technology to refurbish three science laboratories and associated areas at St Joseph's Catholic High School, Slough. Klick Technology had a very proactive approach and were a pleasure to work with during the project. The client is delighted with the completed work and the manner in which it was carried out. PROJECT BRIEF
This was an architect led project, funded by the local diocese, through the Education Funding Agency. The architect wanted to create a more inspirational teaching space and improve the learning environment. Klick created a new prep area by constructing a partition wall and blocking up an existing door opening, dividing the existing large classroom to provide a much improved separate teaching and prep area.
We worked with the school to make the most of their budget by replacing cupboard doors and handles on some existing perimeter benching.
The project resulted in three light, bright labs with different contrast wall colours reflecting the preference of each individual teacher.
