Prince Henry’s Grammar School

Installation of Furniture for 2 Food Technology Rooms

Prince Henry’s Grammar School

The team at Klick were proactive in helping to deal with some challenging site conditions. They worked closely with the school’s site team and were flexible with their scheduling. Klick pulled out all the stops to get the job finished on time and I am very happy with the finished product.

PROJECT BRIEF

The brief was to create a clean and contemporary look for the new food technology rooms.

THE RESULTS

The school opted for Silver Dust Velstone worktops, despite the restricted budget, as they felt it was worth the investment for reasons of longevity and performance. The furniture was fitted with white doors and panelling. This neutral scheme is complemented by different contrast coloured walls in each room. The peninsulas have integrated storage to the rear of the units and this layout allows all students to face directly to the front of the class.

There was close consultation with the school throughout the phased installation to ensure the programming fitted in with the room availability. The project resulted in minimal snagging and the school were really pleased with the end result.
