Excellent project. Thank you.

Klick Technology were briefed to design a food technology room to replace an existing catering room. The room was to accommodate 20 students and to include a large demo area which would also be suitable for theory lessons.
The school had a particular vision of how they wanted the room to look. They selected Trespa Black Craquele for the work tops and Burgundy door fronts. Klick supplied co-ordinating Trespa topped tables. The teaching staff wanted these tables to be mobile, giving them the flexibility of being able to move the tables around easily for theory lessons. The fittings were in satin chrome to co-ordinate with the black work surfaces and the staff selected Neff ‘Slide & Hide’ ovens, with doors that become fully retracted into a cavity when opened, helping to maximise limited space.
Klick completed a partial refurbishment of the room. The ceilings were relatively new and therefore did not need to be replaced. The existing ducting system was modified, with the addition of ventilation grills so it could be retained for use in the new domestic room, which helped to maximise the budget. The teaching staff are delighted with the new room and have created a forum on Facebook with their positive feedback.
