Ashcroft Technology Academy would like to congratulate Klick on the excellent job they have done in ensuring all 10 science labs were completed in the limited time available this summer. The Academy has been impressed with the quality of the finished product and the science staff were particularly delighted with the end result. PROJECT BRIEF
The school required an extensive refurbishment of their science facilities to be completed by the end of the summer holidays.
THE RESULTS
This refurbishment project commenced in May with 4 labs that could be spared once external exams were completed. The 3 phased project continued in term- time to allow the whole project to be completed on schedule by the end of August.
Initially the ceilings & lighting were to be supplied by others but the academy saw the advantage of a single point of contact and asked Klick to supply the whole package.
The benches have Trespa work tops and the rooms feature a separate practical area with adjustable height units in 8 of the labs for students with special needs. A combined theory/demonstration space is located to the front of the room.
