Klick Technology supplied and installed the educational furniture for the refurbishment of the textiles classroom at Braunton Academy. They provided a personal and professional service from conception to completion and I was thoroughly impressed with their attention to detail both in the layout design and the finished product. This was a particular achievement as they were working to some very tight timescales and deliverability was a key issue for the School. Klick’s performance was excellent and I would wholeheartedly recommend them for future school projects.

Klick Technology were delighted to have our first opportunity to work with TFQ Architects on this project and to build on our relationship with Morgan Sindell.
In the new textiles room the teaching staff wanted the work tables to be at 850mm high, which is appropriate for cutting out and had planned for the saw-tooth benching to be the same height, so that with limited space, the same stools could be used. However our operations team pointed out that if the sewing machines were positioned at 850mm high the students would not be able to reach the foot pedals. It was decided to opt for the tables and the benching to be at 720mm high.
In the storeroom we developed custom brackets for the shelving as the school wanted to maximise the storage capacity for heavy rolls of material.
The refurbishment of the textiles room was carried out on a very tight schedule and during term time but with minimum disruption.
