At Godstowe Preparatory school, food and teaching students how to cook is very important. That is why when the school chose Klick Technology to update their food technology room, we were really excited to work with them. Hash tag #WeLoveFood

It was no surprise when the school selected one of our contemporary designs and work started immediately.
Having enjoyed one of our pre summer installation discounts, the school planned to launch the new improved food technology room early in the summer term – giving the students the whole term to learn new skills which they could practice during the summer holidays.
Food Tech room before refurbishmentWork progressed throughout the Easter holidays and included a complete upgrade of plumbing, electrics, flooring and the addition of colourful hygienic cladding for a contemporary 21st century look.
The school planned an official launch on 19th May. What better way to celebrate, than to have a famous celebrity chef, loved by kids, and one of the top judges of the Great British Bake off, Mary Berry to cut the ribbon.
The school’s famous cookery club members could not hide their excitement as they posed for photos with the chef. (Read about the launch here).
Headmaster, David Gainer said “the Chef’s Kitchen, which wouldn’t have been possible without the generous funds raised by our parents, is a fantastic facility and the pupils at Godstowe are looking forward to using it for many years to come.”
